Venezuelan Foreign Minister and ALBA-TCP Executive Secretary welcomed delegations that will participate at the 23rd ALBA-TCP Summit

The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, with the ALBA-TCP Executive Secretary, Jorge Arreaza, welcomed the authorities of Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Nicaragua on this Tuesday at the Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetía, on the occasion of the 23rd Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP).

Both authorities expressed their warmest greetings to the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne; the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega.

The Heads of State and Government, as well as the Heads of Delegations of ALBA-TCP, will meet on April 24th in Caracas, with the aim of ratifying once again the organization’s commitment to the union of peoples, under the principles of solidarity, social justice, cooperation and economic complementarity.

ALBA-TCP was created in 2004 by the Presidents of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez and Cuba, Fidel Castro, who signed the founding agreement in Havana, with the premise of a Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
