The Member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) express their deepest solidarity with the brother people of the State of Palestine upon one year of this inhumane stage of savage aggression by the ruling elite of Israel. 

One year after this cruel criminal and illegal onslaught, which threatens to spread throughout the Middle East region, ALBA-TCP pays tribute to all the victims, their families and relatives, who have suffered in their own flesh the consequences of this genocide, so shameful and painful for humanity. 

The Anti-Fascist and Anti-imperialist Bolivarian Alliance strongly rejects war in any form and in any part of the world and reaffirms its humanist principle and its commitment to the well-being, peace and happiness of the peoples. The arbitrary killing of tens of thousands of civilians, mostly children and women, who are not involved in the conflict, is an inexcusable atrocity. 

The Bolivarian Alliance recognizes the strength of the Palestinian people and their determination to resist the genocide and ethnic cleansing that the Israeli government has unleashed driven by its expansionist ambitions, supported by the murderous weapons and interests of the U.S. government. Likewise, ALBA-TCP condemns the complicit indifference of the countries of Western Hemisphere in allowing such atrocious crimes to be committed with the most absolute and despicable impunity, in flagrant of the Charter of the United Nations, the International Law and the Humanitarian International Law.

Despite 76 years of illegal occupation, pain, death and ruins, Palestine is more alive than ever. From ALBA-TCP, the call is always for peace, solidarity and peaceful and civilized coexistence among nations. The Alliance has raised and will always raise its voice for the just causes of humanity, especially the Palestinian cause, which today is the cause of the peoples of the entire world.
