The Member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) categorically condemn the criminal attacks perpetrated by the Israeli air force in Beirut, Republic of Lebanon, on Friday, September 27, 2024. They also repudiate the cowardly targeted assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah.

The Israeli government orders a series of air strikes against civilian residences with impunity and inhumanity, causing death and injury to hundreds of innocent citizens, while its Prime Minister delivers a cynical speech full of lies and distortions at the United Nations General Assembly before the astonished gaze of the international community.

The ALBA-TCP member countries reject and repudiate this unprecedented war crime, which has taken the lives of Lebanese children, women and men, totally unrelated to the nature of the conflict. For the Zionist elite of Israel, the destruction of Gaza and the genocide of the Palestinian people have not been enough. They brutally attack the Lebanese people and threaten the peace and stability of other countries of the region and worldwide.

The Bolivarian Alliance urgently calls on the international community, social movements and governments, regardless of political preferences, to reject in the strongest terms the atrocities committed by the Tel Aviv government and urges all of mankind to take stop the actions and crimes against humanity that Israel has committed and continues to commit with total impunity and the complicity of the government of the United States of America.
