Commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro envisioned the insurgence of the multipolar world that today is being consolidated against all hegemonic and supremacist intentions, in which the ALBA-TCP constitutes one of its strongest and most enlightened pillars. In this sense, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America is steadily moving forward in the development of its Strategic Agenda to ensure the achievement of the union project in the most important and necessary areas to guarantee the happiness of our peoples.

At the last Summit held in Caracas on December 14 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ALBA-TCP, the Heads of State and Government made concrete decisions in different areas and dimensions to consolidate the Alliance in a comprehensive manner, under its founding and unalterable principles of cooperation, solidarity and complementarity.

In this regard, ALBA-TCP is pleased to announce that next Monday, February 3, 2025, on the occasion of the 230th anniversary of the birth of the hero Antonio José de Sucre, an Extraordinary Working Meeting of Heads of State and Government will be held to evaluate the progress and results of each of the initiatives agreed upon in the economic, social and political areas, as well as to address the respect for human rights and the dignity of migrant populations, and the defense of the sovereignty and peace of all Latin America and the Caribbean.
