Just over a month ago, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) strongly condemned the attack in international waters on the “Freedom Flotilla”, an initiative of solidarity and humanism towards the Palestinian people suffering the genocide perpetrated by Israel, the Occupying Power.

Today, once again, the Israeli government is once again attacking this voluntary mission, which only seeks to provide humanitarian aid to a people subjected to famine and desolation, intercepting and seizing the “Madleen” ship, thus demonstrating its true intentions of extermination against men, women and children who are only defending themselves with admirable dignity, in the face of the infamous cruelty of their perpetrators.

Thus, the Israeli State continues to commit the worst atrocities of the contemporary world under the astonished gaze of governments and international organizations and in flagrant violation of International Law, International Humanitarian Law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

The member countries of the Alliance will not stop in their call to the international community to repudiate and condemn this arbitrary, illegal and terrorist attack and will continue to express their full solidarity with the Gazans in this moment of struggle for life and survival.

Palestine belongs to Palestinians!
