ALBA-TCP rejects the renewal of the European Union´s unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela

ALBA-TCP

The Member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) strongly reject the European Union Council Decision (CFSP) 2022/2201 dated November 10, 2022, by which it extends, for a sixth year, the imposition of coercive, unilateral, interventionist measures violating the international law against government representatives of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The Alliance reiterates that these actions represent a clear violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations, with devastating effects on the food, health and education of the Venezuelan people impeding the enjoyment of Human Rights.

ALBA-TCP reaffirms its full support and commitment to the people and the Government of the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
