The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) congratulates the Saint Lucia Labour Party and its leader, the Honorable Philip J. Pierre, on their clear and legitimate electoral victory. This result
expresses the confidence of the people of Saint Lucia in a political project that has defended social justice, the welfare of families, and the sovereignty of their nation.

ALBA recognizes Saint Lucia as a country committed to peace, regional stability, and the unity of the peoples. Under the leadership of re-elected Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre, Saint Lucia has played a leading role within the Alliance, raising the voice of the Caribbean in the face of common challenges and strengthening Latin American and Caribbean unity.

The Bolivarian Alliance reaffirms its will to continue making progress on the shared plans and projects along with the government of Saint Lucia and keep working together to consolidate a strong Caribbean and a united, dignified, sovereign and peaceful region.
