Havana, January 30, 2025 – A scientific space within the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) was one of the topics discussed between the Alliance’s Executive Secretary, Jorge Arreaza, and Professor Héctor Hernández Pardo, coordinator of Cuba’s José Martí Project for World Solidarity.
From Havana, within the framework of the 6th International Conference for World Balance, Arreaza and Hernández held a meeting this Thursday to outline potential mechanisms that could strengthen the ties between both organizations.
Additionally, Hernández remarked that the conference, taking place on the island from January 28 to 31, has exceeded attendance expectations, with over 700 delegates present.
The José Martí Project for World Solidarity is an initiative aimed at promoting solidarity and cooperation among peoples, particularly within the Latin American and Caribbean context.
This project draws inspiration from the ideals of José Martí, a prominent Cuban thinker and independence leader who advocated for unity and social justice.
The initiative focuses on various areas, including education, science, culture, human rights, and sustainable development. Through cultural exchanges, educational programs, and community projects, it seeks to strengthen ties between nations and foster a sense of global community.
