Caracas, April 29, 2025 – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, this Tuesday at the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
During the meeting, the authorities reaffirmed their commitment to bilateral cooperation and alliance, with the aim of advancing toward a multicentric and multipolar world in defense of the rights of the peoples.
The meeting included the participation of various members of the Venezuelan executive cabinet, among them the Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America–Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza; the President of the ALBA Bank and Vice Minister for the Caribbean, Raúl Li Causi; among others.
Representing the Grenadian delegation were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Export Development, Joseph Andall, and the Ambassador of Grenada to Venezuela, Hassan Hadeed, along with other government representatives.
Diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Grenada have undergone significant strengthening since 1999, with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez. At present, both nations celebrate 47 years of cooperation across various sectors, aimed at consolidating a strategic alliance that benefits their citizens.
As members of ALBA-TCP, both countries continue to evaluate and reinforce the work agenda designed to benefit their peoples and ensure the development and growth of both nations through the Bolivarian Alliance.
