Havana, January 29, 2025 – The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, held a meeting this Wednesday in Havana with the Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza.

The meeting took place in the context of the 6th International Conference for World Balance, which is being held on the island from January 28 to 31, with the participation of more than 600 delegates from 98 countries.

Díaz-Canel and Arreaza discussed the importance of continuing to promote cooperation, as well as the unity and solidarity of the peoples.

“It was an honor to be received by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel (…) We addressed topics from the ALBA-TCP 2030 Strategic Agenda, including AgroALBA, economic complementarity, challenges in artificial intelligence, cultural and scientific integration, communication, and key issues of global geopolitics, particularly those concerning Our America,” Arreaza stated.
